Baking | Keeping Busy With B

If it wasn’t obvious from this post here and here, I love to bake! There’s something so relaxing about measuring out ingredients that separately mean nothing, but when combined together with a little bit of a heat and magic, they turn into something wonderful! (Like everything, though, there are always some exceptions.)

I bake when I’m happy, I bake when I have a sugar craving, but most of all I love baking for my friends, colleagues, clients and neighbors. (Here’s one of my favorite ways of sharing my favorite baked goods here.) It’s always good to have an excuse for what the Swedish call fika, or a coffee break.(I’ve got even more fika suggestions here.)

My recipe inspiration mostly comes from here and here, but I still love flipping through a good old-fashioned cookbook (my favorites are here and here). I’m always looking for recipe suggestions. Email me your favourites at keepingbusyb[a]gmail.com!
